Job Title:   Electronic Health Record Associate

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Interacts daily with physicians and support staff to resolve problems as they occur. 2. Works with the EHR Manager to address user, application, and system performance issues 3. Maintains the pharmacy, referring provider, and similar databases by deleting duplicate entries and correcting improperly formatted entries 4. Assists in training new staff members, secretarial and clinical. 5. Manages and monitors security settings, access logs, and access levels as directed 6. Sets up and deactivates providers and staff 7. Develops flowsheets and similar forms and applications as needed by the clinicians and quality measures 8. Works with MACIPA to provide data required for quality measures and reports 9. Attends organizational meetings. 10. Works with the EHR manager to develop workflow and standardization throughout the organization. 11. Manages monthly clean up reports and makes the necessary changes 12. Monitors interfaces for performance and connectivity issues 13. Facilitates continuing education and training for all support staff and providers. 14. Provides feedback to managers and practice directors regarding provider and staff concerns as requested 15. Any and all related tasks as directed by manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED 1. High school diploma. Bachelor’s Degree preferable. Three to five years’ experience in a physician’s office or similar environment. Some management experience helpful. 2. Knowledge of medical terminology 3. Great interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Able to work independently as well as in a group. Responsible and reliable. Some flexibly with work schedule 4. Experience with EHR system preferred 5. Strong knowledge of computers and hardware systems
