We're hiring a Director of Security to join our dedicated team of professionals. In this role, you'll manage the Security Department’s daily operations, including all shifts, events, and critical incident response and capability.

Additionally, you will: 

  • Coordinate Security Department resources and asset deployment to ensure the delivery of security services.
  • Maintain all Department inventory, conduct periodic security equipment and supply inventory audits.
  • Maintain security incident reporting database and MotorCity Disassociated Persons database. 
  • Maintain, monitor, and verify Security Management and Officer PTO, time clock discrepancies.
  • Maintain and document Lost & Found inventory and database, fuel costs, and supplies.
  • Ensure that company policy, goals, and objectives are being adhered to by staff.
  • Make policy recommendations based on periodic review of existing security policies and strategies that will enhance operations and officer job performance.
  • Oversee and review training initiatives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Concentration in Security or Law Enforcement fields preferred. Consideration given to equivalent training and experience in Casino Security or Law Enforcement, in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must have at least five years of management level experience, Casino Security preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge MGCB regulations preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of computers, including Windows XP, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and concisely.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train Associates.
