Summary:

Work with the Food Servers to ensure guests have all food and beverage items needed, tables are kept clean and well-maintained in a timely manner, and follow pre-determined service standards to ensure a positive guest dining experience at a level consistent with an upbeat tavern environment. Deliver exceptional, authentic guest service to care for the guests.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Greet the guest with a smile in an upbeat and positive manner
  • Maintain a general knowledge of menu items and beverages offered
  • Clear tables as soon as appropriate and sweeps floor underneath and around tables as needed
  • Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area immediately
  • Replace silverware as needed
  • Set tables according to the standards of the outlet
  • Polish glassware and silverware
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Maintain complete knowledge and complies with all Departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Assist in running of food when needed
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

 

Qualifications

  • Six months previous experience performing same or similar job duties
  • Experience providing high-touch guest service expected in fun, high-energy environment
  • Must be team-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, busy environment
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head
  • Occasionally bend, reach, climb, squat, kneel, communicate via radio, and distinguish between shades of color
  • Constantly walk, stand, and use of hearing and vision
