Description:

General Summary
Properly store and retrieve luggage as necessary, anticipate guest’s needs and provide effective solutions for a guest or particular situation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests.
  • Assist guests with luggage, both in and out.
  • Handle the storage of luggage.
  • Assist with room changes.
  • Assit with general deliveries.
  • Assist with group luggage, both in and out.
  • Deliver exceptional telephone etiquette service.
  • Keep master key secure.
  • Keep appearance professional.
  • Provide local information.
  • Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all safety procedures of the property and department.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
  • Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests

Requirements:

Job Specifications – Qualifications

  • Effectively communicate with guests and associates.
  • Be familiar with Aquarius amenities.
  • Be familiar with activities in the town.
  • Must be able to asnwer calls on a multi-line telephone.
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

    Working Conditions – Physical Requirements
  • Bend, lift, carry, push, pull guest luggage throughout an eight hour shift.
  • Be outside during all types of weather.
  • Consistently walk, stand or stoop.
  • Frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs. Frequently push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, crouch or run on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
  • Need to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Communicate via radios.
