Commissary Driver

PT’s Tavern Group (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary:   Responsible for picking up and delivering supplies and/or orders from vendors and other locations.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Picking and staging orders for stock requests
  • Delivers orders to various departments
  • Coordinates pick up/delivery schedule with Material Specialist Commissary/Warehouse to eliminate duplication
  • Communicates with all levels of management and staff
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing same of similar job duties preferred
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Knowledge of Las Vegas streets and a good sense of direction
  • Must possess excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions and other related documents
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

 

Work Cards

  • Nevada Driver’s License
  • Clean 10-year driving record
  • Fork lift certified (able to become certified)

Work Environment Potential Conditions

  •  Hearing, vision (include peripheral), speech and literacy
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs at floor, knee, waist and/or chest levels and over head
  • Continuously walking and/or standing, stooping and use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, couch or crawl

 

Work Environment Potential Conditions

  •  Ability to work in a smoky, noisy environment with bright lights, some dust, and hot and cold temperatures
