Business Development Analyst

Responsible for assisting with the overall tactical and strategic direction of Golden Entertainment Properties by providing operational, financial, and economic analysis, presenting observations and making recommendations designed to enhance revenues, gain efficiencies or reduce operating expenses.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Develop complex financial models, graphs, presentations and conduct other research and analysis as needed

·         Support business development activities related to Business Development and Financial Planning.

·         Responsible for the analysis of all major marketing programs

·         Develop a strong knowledge of the business needs obtained through ongoing communication with the management team

·         Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing research in the gaming/hospitality industry

·         Develop and support the continuous improvement of key internal metrics and operational forecasts

·         Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

·         Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

·         Perform other duties as assigned




  • Two years’ experience working in the Gaming industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with Word and Excel preparing reports, graphs, analytical summaries, trending and complex formulas preferred
  • Must have strong analysis and critical thinking skills with attention to details
  • Excellent organizational skills, metrics driven attitude and elevated attention to details
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Knowledge of Infinium/Cognos, Stratton-Warren, LMS, CMS, Synkros, and SQL preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

·         Typically sit at a desk or table

·         Occasionally stoop

·       Regularly required to see, talk, hear, stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls

·         Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.

·         Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
