 Performs maintenance duties as required.  Keep the gaming floor clean of trash and debris.  Uses small upright vacuum and broom/dust pan.  Clean the gaming machines, between machines, and all surrounding areas including gaming chairs.  Empty and change garbage can liners.  Maintain restrooms every 15-20 minutes and restock all paper items. Sanitize restroom.  Able to operate a dishwasher, card board and trash compactor.

 SPECIFIC DUTIES PERFORMED:   This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.   1. Able to follow directives and instruction.
  2. Pick-up and remove trash and recyclable material from the building.
  3. Keep ashtrays clean on the gaming floor.
  4. Clean and stock restroom areas.
  5. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  6. Maintain all floor areas, clean of debris by using vacuums or sweepers, shampooing and buffing.
  7. Clean windows, patricians and common areas.
  8. Clean Machines, of debris, dust and polish.
  9. Wipe down walls, trash cans, chairs, rails as needed.
  10. Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, pole and drape for banquets/trainings/meeting/.
  11. Vacuum, mop, trash, and restock supplies, water for to the casino departments.
  12. Able to communicate, with co workers and supervisors.
  13. Team work is a must.
  14. Works in a manner, which will cause the least amount of disturbance to the guests.
  15. Record and report any maintenance problem found.
  16. Know and abide by all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  17. Identifies ways to improve workflows and processes to work smarter and increase efficiency
  18. Understands how they and their team create value and uses that knowledge to help them manage theirs and the teams time, knowledge and resources
  19. Familiar with all our games, their locations, and how to play
  20. Proactively helps guests to resolve concerns; particularly when the guest has not been satisfied and strives for a win-win situation
  21. When resolving the guest concern explains what’s being done and “why."
  22. Makes judgment calls based on understanding Legends Casinos’ Purpose, Values and objectives while utilizing research, knowledge, and experience
  23. Arrives to work on time as scheduled, prepared to work, and reports in appropriately.
  24. Completes full shift as scheduled daily, shares in responsibility of the work load of assigned shift.
  25. Ensures that their scheduled work is covered and that the team is not adversely affected by their absence.
  26. Follows associate handbook in regards to professionalism and appearance
  27. Proactively shares guest feedback with leadership and peers in the spirit of continuous improvement
  28. Acts as a mentor for their peers, builds on strengths and considers the success of the associates as their success
  29. Takes responsibility for their performance, knows how they are performing and constantly strives to improve
  30. Demonstrates enthusiasm, courtesy, responsiveness, and professionalism in our daily work
  31. Familiar with, and use, those policies and procedures as contained in the associate handbook
  32. Know and understand our offerings, their hours of operation, and their locations
  33. Maintains control of their own emotions and remains professional at all times
  34. Anticipates  consequences of decisions that impact the guest and proactively provides solutions or recommendations appropriately
  35. Follows their established schedule and manages time effectively
  36. Models for the team, a strong work ethic and is visible, available and present for the guest and their team.




 MINUMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION:  High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.   Prefer 3 months consecutive related work experience but on the job training is available for the associate that has the desire to learn.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.  Must be able to bend, reach, squat and able to lift at least forty-five pounds (45lbs).
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION:  Minimum one-year verifiable industrial janitorial experience to include office spaces, general grounds cleaning and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper use.  Ability to read and write, understand MSDS sheets and follow directions.
