Job Description:
The Risk Control Consultant-Large Property (mid/ northern Ohio region) provides comprehensive customer consulting services within property lines and a broad range of products/services in all risk services operations. Controls the customer’s source of risk, loss or costs by conducting extensive research, data collection, evaluation and analysis to establish and deliver effective risk management options. Provides definitive risk assessment information internally that is reflected by a strong partnership effecting region/division results.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a safety related field or additional 4 years of experience.
  • Prefer 10+ years of risk/loss control experience in a property/casualty insurance environment.
  • This experience should result in the incumbent becoming a subject matter expert on large property lines leading large property initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR is necessary due to the travel involved.
  • Computer literate with strong communication skills in report/letter writing and oral presentations
One or more professional designations preferred such as CSP, ARM or ALCM.
