Fitness/Wellness Specialist – Westfield Center, OH
Description: Instructs classes and supervises participants, members, and guests while exercising at The Fitness Center. Assists the Team Leader in the promotion of other Health and Fitness activities. Assists in the day to day education and exercise. Provides health and fitness screenings. Teaches classes, provides nutrition information and makes health education presentations. Performs equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science or related field. CPR/AED/First Aid certified. Personal training certification from preferably ACSM, NSCA, NASM or ACE. Experience teaching group exercise classes, certification preferred. Able to conduct fitness assessments. Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft and Adobe applications. Valid driver’s license and a driving record that confirms to company standards. Must be able to personally, physically and appropriate demonstrate exercise equipment to members and guests.
