Our Internal Audit business unit is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Bank Risk and Assurance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and supervising audits and investigations as required and provide risk management consulting support to Westfield Bank. In addition, this position will manages auditors to complete audits while meeting milestones, including detail review of work performed to ensure quality of audit observations, work recommendations and adherence to best practices. This position maintains and updates auditing procedures as required by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and reporting results of the audits conducted by the Committee. Your primary measure of success will be on how you effectively assist Westfield Bank in complying with applicable regulations.

To Qualify:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
  • 3+ years of public accounting and/or internal audit management experience in the financial industry.
  • Preferable certifications include: CIA, CPA, CISA, CFSA, and/or CFE
  • Skills such as: proven ability to positively lead and influence others, build and maintain relationships, quickly earn credibility and the ability to translate ideas into positive organizational change are necessary for success in this role.
  • The incumbent must have the ability to develop and present complex material effectively to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
