The Business Systems Analyst will act as a liaison between IT and internal and external business clients for users of Westfield’s Agency Automation solutions.  The role will be responsible for executing the requirements discipline by working with business units to identify and document business, system and non-functional requirements.  In addition to executing the requirements discipline within Westfield’s SDLC, this role will assist with project, scope and release management activities.  The BSA will also serve as an agency industry analyst by conducting research and analysis on automation solutions impacting the independent agency distribution channel.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Information Technology, Business or Communications) OR equivalent work experience
  • Required three (3) years of BSA/BA/SA experience  
  • Prior Insurance knowledge (prefer)
Additional requirements include:
  • Ability to perform competitive market research and gap analysis within the agency automation industry
  • Proficient in building industry relationships and representing Westfield's best interests
  • Ability to provide thought leadership in setting Westfield's Agency Automation direction and plans.
  • Ability to participate in industry workshops to drive progress on agency automation industry-wide issues.
