Senior Loss Entry Analyst
 
DEPARTMENT:  Claims
FLSA: Non-Exempt
 
JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for researching and reconciling discrepancies on processed drafts.  Maintains and provides technical expertise on mainframe processing and procedures.  Coordinates work flow for the Loss Entry Analysts. 
   
  • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and resolving various claim financial reports related to draft processing discrepancies.  Communicates with appropriate parties to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintains and provides technical expertise, mainframe processing and procedures.  Conducts processing audits for the Loss Entry Analysts.  Verifies processing entry and procedures are correctly applied and adhered to, and logs any issues into appropriate tracking spreadsheet to be reviewed by CAPS Unit Leader.
  • Coordinates work flow for the Loss Entry Analysts, such as delegating bulk billing processing, return for endorsement drafts and credit report requests.
  • Collaborates with internal and external business partners seeking and/or providing assistance or input when needed.
  • Trains new Loss Entry Analysts and other internal business partners as necessary.
  • Assists the Loss Entry Analysts with processing work as needed to ensure current status.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION/EDUCATION:
Required:
  • High School diploma OR General Education Development (GED) 
  • two (2) years of claims processing and/or other support experience.
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as:  telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail etc.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Proficient use of various office and computer equipment and software packages.
