Job Description:
 SUMMARY
Responsible for cleanliness of eating area, tables, service area, aisle way and acts as servers assistant.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  1. Clears tables of dirty dishes, cups, utensils, place mats, paper cups and glass wares.
  2. Cleans tables with designated cleaner.
  3. Resets tables following F&B standards.
  4. Clears carts of dishes, debris, etc., and wipes clean.
  5. Responsible for heavy stocking of coffee, cups, paper products, utensils, packaged food products, ice and deep cleaning of both service areas in server station.
  6. Collects full bus trays and delivers to the dishwasher area and may be required to wash dishware, flatware, & glassware.
  7. Separates all dishware, flatware and glassware as designated by Department standards.
  8. Maintains service areas in designated area clean, including floor, flat surfaces and warming bins.
  9. Adheres to all Departmental policies and procedures.
  10. Understands and practices good safety and sanitation procedures.
  11. Practices Viejas Guest Service Standards while performing job duties and responsibilities.
  12. Performs all related and compatible duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Up to one month related experience and/or training.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high activity environment.
  • Must be physically agile to accommodate large serving trays.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English 
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
