The Coordinator, Physician Relations, is accountable for implementing marketing, sales and service tactics/initiatives targeting physicians and other referral source for assigned VCH-W ministries, with the goal of achieving key business objectives. This role includes developing hospital referral relationships with physicians; crossselling hospital services and brand/image; working with hospital executives, service line leaders and clinical leaders to resolve service issues; and coordinating and implementing events and activities designed to encourage physician and customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Builds relationships with key referral sources
Identifies and works to remove barriers to new referrals
Identifies and builds new business growth opportunities
Informs and educates physicians about VCH programs/services
Focuses on physician satisfaction; enhances communications between physicians and VCH leadership
Develops and tracks sales objectives
Maintains good account relationships
Develops and implements innovative selling ideas and methodologies
Works with community groups, organizations and employers
Collaborates effectively with all members of marketing/communication and operational team
Works with Marketing Director to understand assigned marketing project(s) including scope, expectations, time table, team members, budget, etc.
Interfaces with ministry/service line leadership and operational leaders
Track budgets and timelines for physician relations initiatives
Represents VCH-W and VCH marketing to internal and external clients
Stays abreast, proactively educates themselves and cross promotes new services provided at Via Christi Health facilities
May perform other duties as assigned or requested
Education and/or Experience
B.A. in marketing, communications, public relations or business, or other clinical field
Healthcare marketing, sales or clinical experience.

Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to edit and proof copy.
