The primary responsibility of the
ASST MANAGER - POOL
is to assist the Pool, Food & Beverage Operations Manager in the management of all Venetian Pool decks including food and beverage services. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Minimum Employment Requirements:
years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to VCR appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the VCR Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
experience in Food/Beverage management required. Must be able to obtain a Health, TAM, Non-gaming cards, be Red Cross Certified in CPR/First Aid and Life guarding. Must have the ability to carry, pull and maintain lounge chairs as well as other pool deck equipment such as towel bins, weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be willing to work outdoors in seasonal heat (100F+) or cold as well as inclement weather, and be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Must possess the ability to maintain a proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, in person, over the phone, and on the radio. Physical ability to access all areas of the property. Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
