JOB SUMMARY:
The Alliance Marketing Manager is responsible for joint planning, co-developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs with Veeam’s Alliance team and Alliance partners. The alliance marketing manager will co-develop and run innovative and cost-effective marketing programs and campaigns that align with our Alliance program objectives and assist in driving revenue with our partner ecosystem. This role is responsible for managing marketing programs from conception through program execution and evaluating marketing programs against quantitative and qualitative objectives to ensure continuous improvement.


    EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  •  5+ years direct partner program experience, integrated marketing plan development, communication programs and collaborative demand generation
  •  5+ years alliance marketing/ technology partner marketing
  • Understanding of the roles played by alliance partners, distributors, LARs, system integrators and vendors in the channel
  •  Ability to build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  •  Ability to define marketing objectives, track and evaluate results, including marketing return on investment
  • Must have exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Background in virtualization and/or Microsoft alliance marketing programs preferred.
     

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide marketing support for Veeam’s Alliance team members
  • Develop and manage partner marketing programs, including standard new-partner marketing deliverables and activities as earned by partner level. Balance alliance partner needs with Veeam standards and best practices
  • Create both program messaging and joint partner value messaging for use in website content, news releases, collateral and demand-generation campaigns.
  • Manage the hands-on day-to-day execution of marketing plans, deliverables, and action items
  • Evaluate and recommend investment in marketing opportunities offered by alliance partners, manage Veeam’s participation in alliance partner marketing activities
  • Collaborate and communicate with regional marketing teams in support of Alliance marketing activities
  • Maintain and update Veeam content and contacts on alliance partner portals
  • Responsible for managing the Alliances marketing budget; process requests for Market Development Funds (MDF) for investment in Alliance activities; secure proper approvals; issue PO numbers to partners, submit for payment
  • Track proof-of-performance (POP) and ROI on marketing investments, ensuring Salesforce.com is updated with alliance marketing activity details and results
  • Manage multiple campaigns from conception and launch through evaluation

This position reports to the Manager, Channel and Alliances Marketing NA.
