Sales and Pricing Associate

Monday-Friday 40hours per week.
Full/Part Time Status:
To support the efforts of field Sales Reps and Pricing Analysts to secure new business, and to effectively manage existing business. Supports total sales effort including training for MS Dynamic customer relationship management application (CRM).
Use CRM’s functionality and document storage capabilities to coordinate with Operations, Sales, Pricing and other relevant departments on boarding new business awards in a proactive and thorough manner.
Assist with the rate publication process.
Assist in the completion of RFP profile documents for bids and pricing opportunities. Task require the position to use archived examples of past profiles along with updates from various USX departments to thoroughly prepare our responses to customer profile information requests.
Assist with preparations for annual Sales Meetings, and other ad-hoc Sales & Marketing Dept. meetings.
Assist with the execution, tracking and score boarding of periodic campaigns undertaken by Sales and Pricing.
Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Ability to work on an USX site or USX customer location site while performing the essential functions of this position.
Other duties as assigned by management.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred in one of the following fields of study: B.S. Transportation/Logistics, Business/Sales & Mkt. or Communication
2-3 years of Operations, Customer Service and/or Sales & Marketing experience
Experience with AS400, Microsoft Office and various web-based applications/tools preferred.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required , as well as time management and multi-taking skills.
