Job Description Summary:
The EHR Supply Chain Support Analyst will be a member of the Electronic Medical Records team assigned to the EHR Maintenance Team for Supply Chain applications.  The Supply Chain Support Analyst will be involved in updating and maintaining all NEW and current Implants and Supplies as well as Vendors across multiple facilities for support of the hospital materials managers and USPI Home Office departments. 
Supply Chain Maintenance for EHR facilities:

  • Maintain and update multiple Supply Chain Item Master Items and Vendor Maintenance
  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with home office and hospital departmental staff and leadership
  • Work with facility staff on updating implants/supplies and vendors
  • Maintain and share a positive attitude in supporting hospital to prepare for and implement change
  • Communicate the features and benefits of the EMR software and processes being implemented
  • Participate as an active and collaborative member of the project team and home office staff

Multiple Facilities On-Going Support:

  • Provide daily support for ongoing database updates such as NEW implants, supplies, vendors to keep the USPI item master standardized and current




  •  Two years minimum supply chain or charge service entry experience in a health care environment preferred
  • Work collaboratively, efficiently, and respectfully with all to promote teamwork and a positive, productive work environment
  • Ability to recognize and escalate situations as necessary
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and uphold confidentiality
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Qualifications Summary:
    Qualified persons will enjoy working in an office setting, and have a strong interest in materials management.. You must be able to work with multiple facilities and managers and have the ability to communicate the features and benefits of the use of the EHR for Supply Chain.  You must be able to serve as a resource to the materials managers to insure all item master items are current and updated daily. This position is critical for surgical hospital project development and ongoing support of the supply chain and charge services departments to update new implants and supplies daily.
