The Administrative Secretary is responsible for supporting all practice leadership including Executive Director, department directors, and physicians.
As an employee of the practice, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct effect on the image and perception of quality service at the practice. Interaction with patients, family members, physicians, and outside persons must be professional, friendly, courteous, supportive, cooperative and respectful. Behavior should focus on teamwork and professionalism promoting positive relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises recruitment efforts and on-boarding process for physicians & PAs.
Creates and manages physician hospital call schedules
Perform other activities as requested by the physician partner(s), and assume other appropriate responsibilities as necessary
Audit daily deposits
Coordinate litigation by serving as a liaison between physicians, attorneys, and insurers
Plan and coordinate board & shareholder meetings and other events, minutes
College degree or equivalent experience
Medical/hospital background(business or clinical)
Experience working with physicians and CALL SCHEDULES is preferred
Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication skills
