Job Title:   Executive Casino Host
Sycuan Casino

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) 
  1. Targets client markets and establishes new premium VIP players by building a referral network through membership in professional organizations and participation in off-site recreational activities, developing relationships with industry professionals to create awareness of Sycuan in the marketplace, visiting other casinos to identify and recruit premium players, and contacting inactive VIP players to reestablish active play  - 30%
  2. Builds VIP player loyalty to the Sycuan Casino brand by utilizing sales and marketing techniques that foster a unique and exclusive client relationship, personalizing and issuing complimentaries according to established guidelines, promoting Club membership features and benefits, maintaining active communication with guests via phone, e-mail and written correspondence, arranging the delivery of special hospitality and leisure activity services and unique complimentaries, and planning and inviting VIP players to special events and tournaments based on level of play. - 30%
  3. Retains VIP players and increases incremental trips and theoretical win by soliciting and listening to guest opinions and feedback, proactively identifying existing or potential service failures and areas for improvement, taking corrective action to remedy failures, recommending service improvements to the Guest Relations Manager, addressing and resolving guest complaints, and compiling guest feedback data and summary of findings for management review. - 20%
  4. Develops Casino Hosts by training team members to identify and differentiate the value fo guests, providing direct and consistent instruction while monitoring results, conducting perfomance appraisals, goal setting, training, and providing counseling, guidance, and corrective action as needed. - 15%
  5. Monitors VIP guest program success by creating and maintaining a guest acquisition database program, monitoring gaming activity, generating pro-forma and post-forma financial reports, and providing Guest Relations Manager and Casino Operations Director with findings. - 5%

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to appear for work on time
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and/or Tagalog
  • Ability to complete documents and reports in Spanish and/or Tagalog
  • Player tracking software experience

Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years experience providing premium guest service in a gaming or hospitality environment
  • Gaming experience
  • Management experience
