Bingo Cashier



Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides serviceexcellencebyacknowledging and welcoming guests entering the casino and Bingo areas, promptly entering information into the POS system, collecting and processing payment and returning change, if applicable, following establishedprocedures, taking food and beverage orders, responding to guest requests, and delivering purchased food items to guests at the counter. - 70%
  2. Promotes guest relationsby offering appropriate information, menu knowledge, pricing, knowledge of up to date promotional contests, giveaways, concerts, providing related assistance, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner. - 10%
  3. Provides accounting of transactions during shiftby entering cash transactions in to point-of-sale system, counting currency, logging guest discounts, vouchers, VIP points and credit cards on to cashier drop work sheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the food service management team. - 10%
  4. Ensures concession counter areas are stocked and clean by completing and submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered water, bottled beverages, food and supplies and condiments in the server stations, and cleaning all surface areas, sinks, shelves, counters, floors and cashier stations according to established procedures. – 5%
  5. Fills in for cooks as needed to provide guests with food productsby following recipes according to established standards and as projected in the Bingo Specification book, chopping, slicing, cooking, frying and grilling as appropriate, portioning food items and condiments, ensuring cold and hot food wells are filled and replenished as needed, storing food product, and cleaning on the line and surrounding areas according to established procedures.- 5%

Education and Experience
·     High School Diploma or G.E.D.
·     6 months cash handling experience
·     Current Food Handlers Card
·     Guest or Hospitality Service experience
·     Concession experience
·     Food Server experience
·     Casino experience
