Resort Golf Marshal/Starter
Average Hours per Week:
Under the direction of the Outside Services Supervisor. Starters/Marshalls will provide service to all resort patrons in the area of starting times, tee time coordination, answering telephone calls, tournament operations, rules and policies, pace of play, accurate daily play totals and any other duties needed by the Outside Services Supervisor.
Operate the starter's booth and golf course Marshalling in the highest professional manner.
Assure the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted tee times. Rotate players as needed to ensure flow of play.
Reconcile all golf course check in with the Golf shop
Assist all resort patrons and members without games in finding appropriate games.
Keep a record of all rounds played, including golf car usage.
Make sure all guests have checked in.
Post the condition of play for the day.
Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, tee time cards, guest tag at the starter's booth and the first tees.
Maintain and monitor pace of play on the golf course
Valid Driver License in good standing
1 year experience and/or working knowledge of golf
1 year customer service experience
