JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for overseeing the hotel staff, daily hotel operations, creating and managing budgets. In addition, this position is responsible for resolving guest disputes, and ensuring the overall quality of the hotel and its surroundings.





Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
  • Knowledge of CA Innkeeper Laws
  • Ability to keep current changes in CA Innkeeper laws
  • Ability to create and maintain budgets
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees and supervisors
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and mulit task
  • Ability to type letters, memos and complete reports
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to appear for work on time
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directives
  • Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Supervisory/Managerial Accountability
Direct: Front Office Supervisor, Hotel Staff
Indirectly: Hotel Staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

Essential:

  • Qualified candidate should have 2 years college level course work in hospitality, hotel management or related field and at least
     
  • 2 years of hotel management experience.


Desirable
  • PMS or SMS experience
  • Multi-lingual
