Job Title:   Junior Casino Host
Sycuan Casino

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
  1. Provides guest service and promotes guest relations by welcoming all guests entering the casino or approaching the VIP desk, verifying Club member identification, verifying guest eligibility to participate in promotions, completing winner forms for guests to receive payment, answering guest inquiries, informing guests of daily promotions and special events, promoting Club Sycuan benefits, furnishing guests with bussing, game, and program information and instruction, promptly notifying a Guest Relations Supervisor of guest comments and/or complaints, and treating all guests in a friendly and courteous manner. - 40%
  2. Retains casino client base by ensuring an excellent guest experience for players while in the casino, determining player value based on analysis of player tracking data, issuing complimentary items based on player value, responding to player needs and requests, promoting Club Sycuan and player development programs to new and existing players, and resolving player issues and complaints following established procedures. - 40%
  3.  Provides administrative support to the department by documenting and forwarding, reports, complaints, suggestions and recommendations to the Guest Relations Manager, assisting with the coordination of Casino promotions, trade shows, sponsored events, and tour and bingo group activities, and distributing promotional merchandise as directed. - 20%

Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E,D.
  • 2 years guest service experience 
  • Hospitality experience
  • Prior Host experience
