Job Title:   Deli Attendant

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provides guest service by greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner, receiving food orders, preparing food following production sheets and recipes, chopping, slicing, dicing, baking, and reheating as appropriate, portioning food and condiments, providing guests with food products, responding to guest requests, collecting and processing payment, and returning change if applicable following established procedures.- 55% 
  2. Maintains safe and sanitary area by checking food products for appropriate temperature and freshness, replenishing and rotating food items as necessary, following correct food cooling and storage procedures, and cleaning and organizing work according to established procedures. -25%
  3. Provides accounting of transactions during shift by entering cash transactions in to point-of-sale system, counting currency, logging guest discounts, VIP points and credit cards on to cashier drop work sheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor or food services management team. - 10%
  4. Ensures deli area is stocked and clean by submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered beverages, food and supplies in designated areas, replenishing condiments and supplies, and cleaning shelves, guests' tables, chairs, and surrounding areas. - 5%
  5. Maintains inventory in vending machines by rotating and restocking product, restocking coin for change, collecting and depositing all money from vending machines, generating accounting drop sheet, and depositing money to the vault following established policies and procedures. - 5%

  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to work in a smoking environment 

  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale system

Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Current Food Handler card
  • 1 year commercial kitchen experience
  • 1 year food service experience
  • 6 months cash handling experience
  • 6 months guest service experience 
  • 21 years of age


  •  1 year experience as a line cook in a high volume restaurant
