Slot Attendant



Job Purpose:
Provides guest service and support to slot players 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

1.Provides guest service and support by maintaining high visibility on the floor, proactively initiating and building rapport with slot guests, explaining the various slot games, game rules and payout schedules to our guests, replenishing thermal paper, fixing printer jams and bill acceptor malfunctions, monitoring and dispatching service calls on a rotation basis for areas needing service, identifying and correcting machine and CDS malfunctions, and contacting the appropriate personnel to repair machine or program functionality. - 45%

2.Pays winners by promptly responding to winning guests, processing hand pays, scanning and redeeming slots tickets and cash payouts up to $1199.99, assisting the Slot Operations Supervisor in processing jackpot paperwork, manual pay processing and cash payouts, paying the guest, and assisting with Title 31 transaction requirements following established procedures. - 45%

3.Protects casino assets by observing floor activity and reporting suspicious activity or procedural irregularities to the Slot Operations Supervisor or Slot Shift Manager. - 10% 


Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or G.E.D.
•1 year guest service experience
•6 months cash handling experience

•Slot floor experience
•Title 31 experience

Skills and Knowledge:
•Ability to understand and retain slot rules, regulations and procedures
•Ability to count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to recognize counterfeit monies
•Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
•Ability to walk and stand for up to eight hours at a time
•Ability to appear for work on time
•Ability to work in a smoking environment
•Ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
•Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
