Job Title:   Express Retail Cashier
Sycuan Tribe

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
  1. Provides guest service by acknowledging and welcoming guests, providing requested assistance and appropriate, up-to-date information regarding Sycuan product(s), and pricing, treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner, promptly entering guest purchases into the point-of-sale (POS) system, and collecting, counting, and processing payment following established procedures. – 70%
  2. Provides accounting of transactions bylogging sales onto cashier drop worksheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the STDC Executive Vice President. - 25%
  3. Ensures Express Retail counter areas are stocked and clean by completing and submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered merchandise and supplies in the appropriate areas, and cleaning all surface areas, shelves, counters, floors and cashier stations according to established procedures. – 5%

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 6 months cash handling experience 


  • Guest or Hospitality Service experience
  • Concession experience
