Essential Job Functions: 

  • Utilizes basic ingredients to perform basic cooking techniques according to established recipes; sautéing, grilling, frying, roasting, and/or preparation of basic dough to create pastries, cakes and baked goods  
  • Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking. 
  • Observes and tests foods being cooked to determine that it is cooked.
  • Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds sauces and garnishes to complete food order. 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. 



  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three or more years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.


Physical and Mental Demands: 

  • Regularly required to see, hear and smell; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and hot working conditions.
