  • Greets customers with standard greeting.
  • Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash.    
  • Balances funds and assets at the end of work shift.
  • Informs supervisor of guest needs which may require special accommodations.
  • Follows proper check-in procedures at start of shift and follows proper check-out procedures at the end of shift.  
  • Informs supervisor when additional coin or currency is needed during shift.
  • Responsible for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window.  
  • Cashiers may work as sports book writers on their days off, as assigned for an entire shift or before or after their cage shift ends. 
  • Responsible for performing a wide variety of monetary transactions for the guest from the casino cage such as check cashing, chip redemption, lottery and voucher redemption as well understanding the casino and compliance systems.
  • Assists in the safeguarding of company assets by ensuring all distinguishing job duties are performed according to established company policies and procedures.
  • May assist with building cassettes and balancing the bill validators for the ticket redemption and lottery machines.  May at times respond to a guest dispute at a lottery machine.
  • All other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to two years cashier or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  
  • Ability to operate a 10 Key Adding Machine.
  • Knowledge of computers.
  • Accurate typing skills.
  • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
