Senior Revenue Manager

Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the Revenue Management department. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and or employee challenges. Partners with divisional executive leadership to monitor casino, hotel, direct marketing, and group and transient business thresholds to ensure measurable revenue improvements based on demand and availability for multiple hotel/casinos.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership.
  • Build and produce revenue management reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking reports, on a regular and ad hoc basis,.
  • Conduct competitive analyses and analyze market and economic trends to determine hotel demand. Monitor competitive rates and positioning and perform analysis, and develop pricing strategies to maximize room revenue for various properties.
  • Analyze city events and activities, market conditions, changes in competitive environment, and other internal and external influences, and projects the effect of opportunities they create.
  • Monitor direct bookings and oversee the day-to-day management of each property’s online booking engine.
  • Work closely with external vendors, including Online Travel Agencies, wholesale partners, booking engine provider and channel manager to maintain proper and accurate distribution of room availability, rates, inventory and other hotel information. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor accounts to ensure OTA and wholesale production goals are met.
  • Work closely with the Call Center to maintain accurate distribution of room availability, rates, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with marketing and casino marketing the events calendar to ensure incremental gaming and hotel revenue is generated. Work closely with internal sales teams to ensure optimized mix and average daily rate are achieved.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
  • Train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff
  • Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • 3 years experience performing same or similar duties within the Las Vegas hotel and/or gaming industry;  multi-property/venue experience preferred
  • 4 year accredited college/university bachelor degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, hotel management or similar field.
  • Proven experience in economics, financial analysis, database research, customer behavior analysis and/or marketing sciences
  • Proven ability executing pricing & margin analysis, ROI analysis, break even, profitability modeling/P&L analysis, performance benchmarking, LTV analysis, and/or regression analysis, and the application of these techniques against business problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work with high attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and accuracy under a fast pace work environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with small and large groups of people in a business or community environment and build positive relations built on respective and collaborative business beliefs
  • High computer literacy and strong proficiency in Excel.  Experience with SQL/SAS, Word, PowerPoint, and Project preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
