Under the direction of the Beverage Manager this Team Member’s duties include, but not limited to serving cocktails to VIP guests within the VIP room, ensuring a positive guest experience, while maintaining the extraordinary service standards of the VIP Room. Interact and service VIP guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere utilizing the guest’s name when possible to build rapport and create a memorable experience building guest loyalty. The ability to handle extra duties as assigned by management to ensure VIP guests receive a superior level of service.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred. Must possess knowledge of both beverage and food items. Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing, friendly personality. Must demonstrate extraordinary customer service skills with effective listening skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities are required, to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of one to two (1 - 2) years of high volume service. Must undergo TIPS Training on a continuous basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to walk and stand for duration of shift and continuously carry cocktail trays weighing at times up to 20 pounds while walking. The employee is regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The Casino Service Bar environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
