Description:

Position Summary

Receives and records cash payouts for bingo games. Verifies winning cards, calculates prize money, and pays customer. Issues banks and receives cash drops from Bingo Clerks

Supervision Exercised

Supervised by the Bingo Manager and/or Bingo Supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for picking up the paymaster key. Receives and verifies cash bank from the Casino Vault.
  2. Responsible for issuing banks to Admission and Floor Clerks.
  3. Responsible for verifying all banks and payouts are signed by appropriate staff.
  4. Responsible for keeping accurate records of bingo payouts by verifying all bingo game winners with the Bingo Caller.
  5. Responsible for providing cash winnings for Bingo Floor Clerks after verification of winning bingo card.
  6. Responsible for safekeeping of cash.
  7. Responsible for making cash drops from Admission and Floor Clerks.
  8. Responsible for reconciling ending drop with Bingo Supervisor and Cage/Vault.
  9. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
  10. Verify all signatures on Floor Clerks and Admission Clerks paperwork.
  11. Responsible for cleaning work area.

  1. Ability to count and receive cash.
  2. Ability to keep accurate records.
  3. Ability to deal with the public and employees.
  4. Ability to use a 10-key calculator.
  5. Knowledge of all bingo games.
  6. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

Required:

  1. High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
  2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Licensing Status

  1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
  2. Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions

  1. Work is performed indoors.
  2. Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
  3. Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.
  4. Subject to hazards which may cause personal bodily harm including but not limited to smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
  5. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
  6. Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
  7. Specific required movements include the following:
  • Trunk-bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry
  • Arms-reach, carry, push, pull, lift, twist, rotate
  • Legs-lift, push, pull, twist, rotate
  • Hands-grasp, manipulate, bilateral coordination, eye and hand coordination, overall and finger dexterity.
