Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

Required:
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration, Planning, or Community Relations and five (5) years of experience with the Pueblo of Sandia culture, language and history. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience totaling nine (9) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
- Must be able to speak Tiwa.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.

Licensing Status
|
- Must be able to successfully pass a Background and Character Investigation in compliance with PL 101.630.
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions
|
- Duties are performed indoors.
- Work is normally performed on weekdays, although weekend and evening work may be required.
- Subject to hazard such as driving in traffic.
- Duties may involve walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and standing.
- Specific required movements include the following: (25 lbs., maximum)
- Trunk – bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry.
- Arms – reach, carry, push, pull, twist, rotate.
- Legs – push, pull, twist, rotate, balance.
- Hands – grasp, manipulate, eye and hand coordination.
