Description:

Position Summary

Under general supervision, performs activities in support of the property food outlets.  May work interchangeably as dictated by business.

Supervision Exercised

Supervised by the Food and Beverage Managers and Supervisors.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provides excellent customer service and establishes guest perception of restaurant service that is “Far from Ordinary”.
  2. Ensures tables are cleaned thoroughly within 5 minutes of guests departing and set up properly in a timely and complete manner.
  3. Assists servers with pre-bussing tables during service as well as assisting with beverage service as assigned.
  4. Participates in Daily Stand Up Meetings to ensure property communication is understood.
  5. Timely completion of computer assisted training as required.
  6. Performs and maintains cleanliness of dining areas and work areas at all times.
  7. Transports trash to proper disposal areas as required.
  8. Keeps all areas fully stocked and organized as assigned.
  9. Transports clean and soiled dishes to appropriate areas.
  10. Ensures that health and safety regulations are maintained and adhered to at all times.
  11. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Ability to follow instructions.
  2. Exhibiting a strong commitment to the organization.
  3. Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff.
  4. Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
  5. Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation.
  6. Knowledge of Tribal, Federal, State and local sanitary regulations regarding the preparation, maintenance, storage and sales of food/drink products.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

Required:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

  1. High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
  2. Experience in restaurant or food service capacity.

Licensing Status

  1. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  2. Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire date.
  3. Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.
