Description:

Position Summary

The dealer, under the direction of the Table Games Director, Manager, Pit Manager and Supervisor, is responsible for dealing the assigned game in accordance with casino policy and procedures. The Dealer may sign Fill/Credit slips, table opener/closer and temporary opener/closers. The dealer has access to pit areas, table banks, and cards/dice in play and customer funds.

Supervised by the Table Games Floor Supervisor and/or Box Person.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Checks and verifies all equipment.
Verbalizes on all game transactions.
Accurately deals all games as assigned.
Knows and understands the procedures for all games assigned.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Keeps supervisor informed about game situations.
Makes proper change and color-ups.
Possesses excellent dexterity for the games dealt.
Understands and observes the proper rotation.
Responsive and compliant with supervisor requests.
Recognizes winning/losing bets and situations.
Maintains awareness of game situations and players at all times.
Walk the tables on games that require it.
Follows all procedures regarding the acceptance of tips.
Treats all customers as valued patrons of the house.
Maintains a neat and professional appearance.
Assists the supervisor in complying with all duties.
Strict adherence to Sandia Casino System of Internal Controls.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED Certification required
Prior two (2) years dealing experience
Successful passing of a table audition.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Licensing Status

Must be able to obtain and maintain a STGC Gaming License at the Key employee level.

	Trouble cutting and pasting your resume into the window provided

	Targeting your job search
	You can fine tune your job search by using specific keywords in the Keyword Search. If these keywords are in any part of a job, the search will return those jobs. Example: Business Administration These words together result in job descriptions that include both words in the order you type them in. Example: Business Administration and marketing and entry level These words result in job descriptions that include all of these words.

	Selecting more than one choice in a list box
	To select multiple choices in a drop down box, hold down the CTRL ("Control") key while clicking the options with the mouse. Use the SHIFT key if you're using a Macintosh.

	Printing your resume
	When you are reviewing your resume, click into that frame. From your browser's menu, select 'File' and 'Print - only selected frame.'

	Changing your username and password
	You will not be able to change your username or password. If you lose your password, you can click on the "Forgot Password" button next to the password box on the login page. If you have forgotten your username, you will need to register again.

	How your Job Spy work
	Routinely, your Job Spy will search the job database. If a new job has been added that contains your Job Spy criteria, that job will be emailed to you! Enter the keywords that a job should contain in the "Keyword(s)" box. Create a memorable name for your Job Spy.
