JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary
Under general supervision, performs Food and Beverage activities in support of one of the restaurants in accordance with the respective outlets service guidelines.
Supervision Exercised
Supervised by the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Managers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide excellent customer service and establish guest perception of restaurant service as that of exceptional hospitality and friendliness at all times.
  2. Ensure that all guests are acknowledged with a sincere welcome within 2 minutes of guest being sat.
  3. Responsible for suggestive selling at all interaction points during the meal service.
  4. Must maintain thorough knowledge of property information regarding restaurants, entertainment, lounges, Marketing promotions, upcoming events as well as local points of interest.
  5. Ensures that orders are taken accurately and input into point of sales system.
  6. Responsible for all opening and closing side work duties as assigned by management.
  7. Participation in Daily Stand Up Meetings to ensure property information is understood.
  8. Timely completion of computer assisted learning as required.
  9. Accordance with property appearance standards at all times.
  10. Consistent satisfaction checks to guests with two minutes of entrees being delivered to ensure satisfaction.
  11. Responsible for on going maintenance of tables during the course of service to ensue that all unused china, glass and silver is removed from the table.
  12. Ensure that health and safety regulations are maintained at all times.
  13. Communication with Supervisors and/or Managers regarding guest issues that are in need of addressing.
  14. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1.    Ability to follow instructions.
2.    Exhibiting a strong commitment to the organization.
3.    Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff.
4.    Ability to work under pressure.
5.    Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
6.    Ability to pass a basic math test.
7.    Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
8.    Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation.
9.    Knowledge of Tribal, Federal, State and local sanitary regulations regarding the preparation, maintenance, storage and sales of food/drink products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
  1. High school diploma or GED Certification is preferred, but not required.
  2. One to two (1-2) years experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or food service establishment will be substitutes for the education.
  3. Must be 21 years old.
  4. Must complete New Mexico Indian Health Food Handlers course.
  5. Must have a New MexicoAlcohol Server’s License.
Licensing Status
Must be able to successfully pass a Background Investigation.
Must complete New Mexico Indian Health Food Handlers course.
Must have a New MexicoAlcohol Server’s License.
