Position Summary

Facilitate food service. Cleans tables, carry dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes; supply service bar with food, and serve water, butter, and coffee to patrons.

Supervision Exercised

Reports directly to the Council Room Restaurant Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Cleans up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and removes empty bottles and trash.
Carries food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supplies departments to serving counters.
Carries trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware to kitchen and dishwasher.
Fills beverage and ice dispensers.
Maintains adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
Replenishes supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars.
Scrapes and stacks dirty dishes, and carries dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

Required:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.

Licensing Status

Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire date.
Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions

Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

	Trouble cutting and pasting your resume into the window provided
	Copy the resume from your text document (example: MS Word) by opening/viewing the document and selecting Edit - Select All from the menu bar, then Edit, Copy. 	You can fine tune your job search by using specific keywords in the Keyword Search. If these keywords are in any part of a job, the search will return those jobs. Example: Business Administration and marketing and entry level These words result in job descriptions that include all of these words.

	Selecting more than one choice in a list box
	To select multiple choices in a drop down box, hold down the CTRL ("Control") key while clicking the options with the mouse. Use the SHIFT key if you're using a Macintosh.

	Printing your resume
	When you are reviewing your resume, click into that frame. From your browser's menu, select 'File' and 'Print - only selected frame.'

	Changing your username and password
	You will not be able to change your username or password. If you lose your password, you can click on the "Forgot Password" button next to the password box on the login page. If you have forgotten your username, you will need to register again.

	How your Job Spy work
	Routinely, your Job Spy will search the job database. If a new job has been added that contains your Job Spy criteria, that job will be emailed to you! Enter the keywords that a job should contain in the "Keyword(s)" box. Create a memorable name for your Job Spy.
