Job Title:   Food Server - Specialty Room, S.E.

General Summary of Duties: The Food Server’s primary responsibility is to provide friendly, courteous service and preparation in accordance with standard procedures

Example of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
1. Completes the set-up of each order in a timely manner following company standard guidelines.
2. Delivers the order to the room in a timely and professional manner according to our standards.
3. Ensures that the guest has everything that is needed before moving to the next order.
4. Competes side work assignment each day before departing.
5. Follows all proper cash, credit card and room charge procedures.
6. Follows all proper check control procedures.
7. Knowledgeable about all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages.
8. Remains up-to-date on hotel events and operational hours of all food and beverage outlets.
9. Performs other related duties as requested.

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others; ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English; ability to perform basic math; ability to handle money and make correct change; and pleasant personality, team oriented an enjoys working with and serving people.

Education: High school education or equivalent.
Experience: As set by union contract.
Certificate/License: Clark County Health Card; Alcohol Awareness Card; and Union Referral.
