DESCRIPTION:
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
Planning and prioritizing Maintenance Work Orders
 
Provide Work Orders to Maintenance Supervisors
 
Preventative to Predictive Maintenance
  • Data based management
  • Data to information
  • System Maintenance (updates of PM’s in system as needed)
  • Analyze Data then create action plans that move department toward matrix targets
 
Scheduling and assignment
 
Management of Parts Room Activities
  • Documentation in CMMS
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory
  • Communicating parts needs to the Parts Room
 
Supporting Maintenance Department with projects and Safety
  • Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements
  • Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management
 
Matrix Attainment
  • Responsible  for meeting Maintenance Scheduler measurement matrices
  • Planned / Scheduled ratio as set by maintenance manager
  • Stores service rate
  • Data integrity as measured by cycle counts and work order reviews
 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Training
  • 2 year degree or equivalent experience in maintenance related or Inventory/Planning discipline
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Skilled in inventory control, Parts management, and/or Scheduling
  • Computer proficient – Windows-based programs
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
 
Experience
  • 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or parts room
  • Database application experience
 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct:            3 Parts Clerks, one on each shift (shared with Shift Supervisor)
Maintenance Purchaser
Indirect:         None

PHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to utilize hands and fingers in constructing and replacing of machine parts
  • Must be able to lift/carry machine parts
  • Must wear protective/sanitary gear in designated areas of the plant and while doing certain tasks (i.e. hair/beard nets, earplugs, environmental suit, goggles, welding shield etc.)
