Human Resource Coordinator
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports various functions and activities with the HR Department. This position will be responsible for administrative support, timekeeping procedures, recruiting assistance, reward and recognition activities, special projects and initiatives.
Support the Time Keeping Specialist (TKS) with Kronos changes including correcting punches. Eventually supporting more of the payroll functions to serve as a backup when the TKS is unavailable
Administers and maintains all personnel files and other miscellaneous data in Human Resources files
Assist Talent Acquisition with generation of offer letters and new hire on-boarding procedures.
Uses ORACLE (HRIS) to perform employee record maintenance and new hire set up, including personnel folders and applicant input
Maintains information on bulletin boards, and insures adequate supply and availability of personnel-related forms
Assist HR Business Partners with TeleTech Health and Wellness Initiatives
Orders office supplies for Human Resources
Assists with maintenance and update of corporate policy/procedure documents using automated document retrieval system, CORE
Maintains and purges separated employees files
Maintains reports for Mars Stout and Florida New Hire for all new hires
Refers employees with employee relations issues to appropriate HR Generalist or HR Manager
May represent company at diversity and recruitment events such as: career fairs,
Support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior
Maintain confidentiality of all personnel related issues
Work on activities and/or projects as requested by the Human Resource Manager
College coursework related to Human Resource functions is desired
1 - 2 years HR administrative support experience required. Knowledge of how the HR function works and supports the business
Computers – Outlook, Word and Excel. Some experience in learning and using company proprietary systems
Timekeeping systems such as Kronos, ADP, TPP or HBS, 1 year or more preferred
Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) experience with Oracle, 1 year or more preferred
Possess a high degree of professionalism
Expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Detail oriented with high level accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive material
Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
Ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Exceptional time management skills
Exemplary standards of integrity, personal work ethic and continuous involvement in self-education and development
Understanding of legal requirements for pay practices in multiple states
Available to work outside normal work schedule when necessary
Ability to work well and interact with others at varying organizational levels.
Must provide excellent customer service to all Percepta employees
