JOB DESCRIPTION:
GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the safety of both the work environment for Team Members and the entertainment environment for guests and patrons.
 
 
FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.  
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a safe environment for PR&C Team Members, guests and patrons through safety inspections of all buildings and offices on the property as well as inspection of the operational status and safety of all equipment used on PR&C property.
Conform standards to comply with Tribal and/or Federal OSHA regulations, including laws such as the ADA.
Prepare detailed written reports and recommendations based on inspection findings.
Identify and label utility switches, shutoff panels and locations of hazardous material and facilitate the use of MSDS.
Coordinate the enforcement and monitor the status of the PR&C Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and safety training for all PR&C Team Members. Issues Safety Violation as needed.
Participate on PR&C Safety Committee meetings and prepare Annual Safety Reports for managerial review.
 
 
ACCOUNTABILITY: Access to sensitive areas. Non-supervisory position.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Three to five years related experience. Experience in safety techniques and hazardous materials; working with OSHA regulations, and fire detection and suppression technologies and equipment.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:  This position requires the ability to respond, both verbally and written, to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

REASONING ABILITY:  This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  
 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
None required
 
SKILLS/ABILITIES: 
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Ability to communicate using a PR&C internal radio.
Independent assessment and decision making skills.
Ability to safely and effectively maneuver up ladders, stairs, under buildings, and roofs using any/all equipment necessary.
Able to engage in repetitive bending, stooping, climbing, side to side head and body movements and lifting up to 50 lbs.
