  • Receive and understand food orders from the SBA and the assigned supervisor.
  • Assist the other assigned personnel in the preparation of the requested food and to coordinate the orders for pick-up by the SBA
  • Prepare orders according to standard recipes in a proper, professional, and timely manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work stations, kitchen area, walk-in coolers and freezers.
  • Assure the production of the best quality possible in a proper sanitary and professional manner.
  • Maintain the inventory of the work stations.  Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage and over production.
  • Order stock for the next day or the next shift, as required.
  • Inform the Hospitality Ops Supervisor on duty of any problems they may encounter during shift.
  • Assist in providing breaks for other associates working the line, as necessary when advised.
  • Provide a “passion for the guest experience” throughout the shift ensuring all guests have a “taste of the win.”
  • Work with and communicate with the other associates as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 


  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in professional culinary operations.
  • Must be Serv-Safe certified or become certified within thirty (30) days of employment at Pearl River Resort.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift, weekends or holidays, if needed.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to work or stand 90% of assigned shift.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, climb and/or bend during shift.
  • Must be able to read & interpret complex recipes.
  • Exposed to slippery floors.
  • Exposed to hazardous cleaning type chemicals.
