Bathroom Attendant

Job Overview:

Bathroom Attendants ensure that bathrooms are clean and functional. This includes replacing supplies, wiping counters, mopping up excess water and fixing broken sinks and toilets.  Bathroom Attendants must interact with guests, including assisting them with directions to open stalls.  The Bathroom Attendant will ensure the highest quality of cleanliness to the bathroom area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that toilets, sinks, counters and fixtures are clean and functioning at all times
  • Maintains a clean area and adheres to all safety precautions in the assigned area
  • Reports any guest’s suspicious activities, such as illnesses, injuries, unlawful activities
  • Maintains supplies as assigned to the designated bathroom
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the EVS Manager/Supervisor


Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Six (6) months of custodial experience- required
  • Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Must be able to walk, stand and stay in assigned area for 100% of assigned shift  
  • Must be able to stoop, lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to work in the presence of solvents and cleaning chemicals
  • Must have communication skills and excel at customer service
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
