Executive Services Housekeeper

SHIFT: 7am-4pm (Shift subject to change based on business needs)

Job Overview:

The Executive Services Housekeeper is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the administrative offices to include bathrooms and offices located in the administrative office area. The Executive Services Housekeeper will produce the highest quality of cleanliness in all areas following established procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the administrative offices and common areas stay in a clean, sanitized fashion
  • Vacuums, mops, sweeps, dusts, cleans the wood, glass, pictures, doors, tables, chairs, and carpets
  • Cleanliness of floors in assigned common areas of the administrative areas and employee areas, which includes the employee break room
  • Maintains and cleans equipment used; Uses equipment properly
  • According to periodic maintenance schedule, shampoos and extracts carpets
  • Informs the VP / Director of Human Resources of any needed cleaning supplies or maintenance concerns
  • Sets up and breaks down food/snacks/beverages for each conference room
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the VP / Director of Human Resources

 

Requirements:

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment- required   
  • Five (5) years of experience in custodial or housekeeping duties- required   
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment- required   
  • Must be willing and able to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, & overtime as required
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of sixty (60) pounds
  • Must be able to push or pull a minimum of five (5) to sixty (60) pounds to assigned areas
  • Must be able to walk or stand for 100% of assigned shift (6 – 8 hours)
  • Ability to tolerate areas containing dust, second-hand smoke, bright lights and loud noises
  • Uses dexterity and gross motor skills continually; Frequently bends, pulls, pushes, lifts, and reaches above shoulders; Occasionally kneels, climbs, and crawls to work in difficult positions
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
