Overview:
EVS Attendant I is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the gaming complex to include machines, bathrooms and offices located at the casino. EVS personnel will produce the highest quality of cleanliness in all areas following established procedures.
Purpose:
Our genuine attentiveness and positive energy provide guests, especially women, an escape from their ordinary world into our exciting fantasy world of play, chance, and possibility.  With this contribution, we give them a feeling of importance and belonging.
Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures that the gaming complex stays in a clean, sanitized fashion
  • Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning of wood, glass, pictures, doors, tables, chairs, slot machines, and carpets
  • Responsible for cleanliness of floors in assigned public and employee areas, which includes all front and back of the casino
  • Maintains and cleans equipment used; Uses equipment properly
  • According to periodic maintenance schedule, shampoos and extracts carpets
  • Responsible for informing the EVS Manager of any needed cleaning supplies or maintenance concerns
  • Reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor/Manager
  • Ensures that all applicable operating policies and procedures are adhered to at all times without deviation and be extremely knowledgeable of Minimum Internal Control Standards and Fiscal Policies and Procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the EVS Manager

 

Requirements:

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
 

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Must be willing and able to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, & overtime as required
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of sixty (60) pounds
  • Must be able to push or pull a minimum of five (5) to sixty (60) pounds to assigned areas
  • Must be able to walk or stand for 100% of assigned shift (6 – 8 hours)
  • Ability to tolerate areas containing dust, second-hand smoke, bright lights and loud noises
  • Uses dexterity and gross motor skills continually; Frequently bends, pulls, pushes, lifts, and reaches above shoulders; Occasionally kneels, climbs, and crawls to work in difficult positions
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment, holidays, weekends and nights.
