AutoCAD - Revit Technician

As an AutoCAD- Revit Technician you will assist the Facilities Department by developing and assigning projects throughout the casino. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *The ideal candidate has experience working in AutoCAD (computer-aided drafting) and Revit to develop architectural projects and maintaining the property master.
  2. *Team work is absolutely necessary for us to accomplish our goals. You must be able to work within a team and depend on others to accomplish the required work. This includes working with internal groups as well as external contractors. AutoCAD- Revit Technician will be able to develop their own working drawings, contribute to design meetings, document projects and meetings. Review drawings and documents for conformance to Potawatomi’s design standards.
  3. *Daily responsibilities will include creating and working on updating and maintaining the living property model.
  4. Execute drawings and create AutoCAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) models and maintain CAD and Revit standards, processes, and workflows.
  5. Assist in creating and maintaining standard templates and family libraries.
  6. Create document packages for internal review, produce bidding documents for Project Management staff used for project bidding, and update files with as-built documents.
  7. Find creative solutions to automate processes, standardize designs, document projects.
  8. Review consultant BIM documentation, BIM files, coordinate output formats, and validate data quality, collect design
  9. *Assist in managing designated projects for casino and hotel space, including but not limited to field measurement, design layouts, estimating, schedules, permit approvals, resources, quality control, and documentation.
  10. *Develop preliminary concept designs, and color presentation drawings as required.
  11. *Assist with developing bid documents per the direction of the project.
  12. *Assist with obtaining project closeout documents and incorporate them into property Master files.
  13. *Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements.
  14. *Prepare plan sets that include; site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details sections, and other items as necessary to convey the design intent
  15. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  16. Assist with AutoCAD and system training of employees
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Three years’ work experience in AutoCAD, BIM and/or SketchUp are required.
  3. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  4. Proficient with current State of Wisconsin and local building codes
  5. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information 
  6. The ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels and understand the interests of multiple stakeholders and how those interests relate to PH&C and its goals
  7. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.    

 

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor the noise level increases. The work environment is smoke free, when on the casino floor it is not smoke free.
