Cage Inventory Supervisor

UP TO $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

 

In this fast paced, high energy environment where accuracy is essential, how do we keep track of our many casino transactions?  As the Cage Inventory Supervisor you will assist in the tracking process by maintaining security and accountability of all money and inventory transactions. You will supervise approximately 10 to 15 Cage Inventory Cashiers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Maintain security and accountability of all money and inventory transactions within Cage Inventory during their shift.
  2. *Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the interview and hiring process; training team members; scheduling and motivating team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. 
  3. *Verify daily paperwork to resolve any variance errors that may arise during their shift. Notify management of any unresolved variances.
  4. *Address any guest inquiries or complaints and follow up with proper documentation.
  5. *Count and verify all funds into assigned bank.
  6. *Verify the transfer of funds to and from cage area.
  7. *Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
  8. *Provide instruction and assist Cage Intventory team members when needed.
  9. Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of cash handling experience are required.
  2. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. 
  3. The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and United States currency. 
  4. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment including a calculator and basic computer skills.  Previous experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system preferred
  5. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. 
  6. The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members. 
  7. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
  8. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.   The team member must be able to operate a personal computer/point-of-sale (POS) system. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance.  Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.    

 

 

 

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
