Valet Ticket Attendant

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Greet and welcome guests at the front entrance of the property in a timely and pleasant manner.
  2. *Assist guests in and out of their vehicle and provide information regarding the parking and retrieval of their vehicle.  Provide valet information to guests.
  3. *Assist with maintaining organized records of guest car keys, coat check, and wheelchairs.
  4. *Ensure organized and efficient valet operations and direct traffic as needed.
  5. *Act as a resource to guests and team members by maintaining thorough knowledge of the facility, special events, promotions, local attractions, and other amenities.
  6. *Attend to guest needs, inquiries, or special requests in a courteous and prompt manner.
  7. *Operate motor vehicles, if assigned driving responsibilities, to move waiting cars up in line, providing room for newly arrived cars and facilitating more efficient guest service.
  8. Ensure valet areas are safe, clean, and attractive. Perform light cleaning duties as needed and daily maintenance of valet areas and desk.
  9. Monitor pace and quantity of production and minimize down time.
  10. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
     

Requirements:

  1. A high school Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of previous Valet experience are preferred.
  2. Ability to hold and maintain a valid state issued non probationary driver’s license is preferred including:
    • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
    • No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
    • No conviction for driving while impaired (DWI) or driving under influence (DUI) within the last 3 years.
  3. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  4. The ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
  5. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for prolonged periods of time in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.  The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.   The team member must be able to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 60 pounds occasionally, with assistance.  Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  

 

Working Conditions
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise levels increase.  The facility is not smoke free.  This position is occasionally subject to working long hours in all outdoor weather condition.
