Training Coordinator

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Develop and train new and current Bingo team members on the policies, procedures, methods, and operational rules of the Bingo department, including developing and preparing training materials.
  2. *Provide hands on training in all aspects of the Bingo clerk’s daily tasks including, but not limited to, setting up drawers; selling bingo product; the types of product sold; the types of bingo games; counting and verifying bingo paper; balancing cash and bingo paper; paying bingo game winners; and processing appropriate paperwork.
  3. *Demonstrate appropriate guest service techniques and behavior that provides the best possible gaming experience for Bingo guests.
  4. *Perform training needs evaluation, research and determine effective training delivery method, regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training, and document and revise training as needed to meet the department’s organization’s goals.
  5. *Assist with and perform the duties of a Bingo Admissions Clerk or Bingo Floor Clerk as needed.
  6. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of training, bingo, or related experience is required.
  2. Office Skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office including the ability to demonstrate basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; using whole numbers and United States currency.
  4. Ability to read and interpret written instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  5. The ability to interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups.
  6. Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  7. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift.  The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.   The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.  Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  

 

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise level increases.  The facility is not smoke free.
