Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Park and retrieve guests’ automatic transmission vehicles as they enter and leave the casino safely and efficiently.
  2. *Greet guests and new team members with a friendly expression of acknowledgement.
  3. *Utilize the Computerized Valet Parking System (CVPS).
  4. *Report any vehicle violation, accident, or malfunction that occurs while driving a guest’s vehicle to management immediately.
  5. *Control pace and quantity of production to minimize down time.
  6. Provide directions and answer guest questions to provide excellent guest service in all situations.
  7. Assist other team members as needed.
  8. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
  9. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of related experience are preferred.
  2. Ability to hold and maintain a valid, state issued driver’s license.
  3. Must have and maintain a good driving record which includes:
    1. A maximum of 3 moving violations in the past 1 year.
    2. A maximum of 2 at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
    3. No conviction for driving while impaired (DWI) or driving under influence (DUI) within the last 3 years.
  4. Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.
  5. Complete in-house Responsible Beverage program within 3 months of hire.
  6. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  7. The ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner.
  8. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, run, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift.  The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance.  Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.    

 

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise level increases.  The facility is not smoke free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to work outside in all weather conditions.
